Welcome to ICCE 2017

Civic education is a significant pillar for democratic citizens to develop the country and to build mutual cooperation with other nations around the globe harmonically. The harmonic relations can be created when the understanding of democratic and value systems that become the implemented principles of a nation is achieved.Answering the challenge, Department of Civic Education and Pancasila, Faculty of Social Studies, Universitas Negeri Padang will pleasantly conduct an international seminar of Civic Education themed: Local and global Citizenship in Asia : Theory and Practice. Through the conference it is expected that constructive and multi-perspective ideas and notions proposed by perspective experts, practitioners, and educational observers and stakeholder from various nations can be collected and collaborated. The notions and ideas then will contribute to the development of Civic Education in their nations. Finally, it is expected that democratic, diverse, and tolerant Asia community can be established.
